Book Title:  Tycoon Takedown  (LoneStar Burn, Book 2)

Blurb:

Ruth Cardello’s second steamy and sensual book in the Lone Star Burn series may leave you blushing.

Melanie Hanna has finally worked up the courage to travel to New York and tell an old flame that he’s the father of her young son. She’s done hiding and apologizing for her one impulsive night. When her best friend asks her brother to watch over Melanie, her emotional trip takes an unexpected and sizzling detour.

Charles Dery is at the top of his game, but all he can think about is bedding the woman he was asked to protect. When she’s almost killed, he takes what he’d been denying himself and discovers he’ll do anything to keep her—even break his own rules.

When it comes to love, two wrongs may just finally make a right.

A city boy and a country girl, yet so perfect for one another. However this was more than a romance. This book takes you on a journey of these two discovering things about themselves. There was a part where I teared up because it was such a tender moment, not with the couple you’ll have to read to find out with who. I loved his friend Mason who seems like he has no cares in the world yet is wise beyond his years and funny. This book had romance, hot sexy scenes, some drama, some sweet tender moments, some funny moments, basically it was a thoroughly good read that makes me want to read more from the story and more from this author.
