Where are you from: Michigan

A little about your self `ie your education Family life etc

Well, I married my high school sweetheart and we have one daughter. My dream job at first was becoming an attorney. In fact, my degrees from college are in Criminal Justice, but life happen. My love for writing poems, helped me out after being in a dark place in my life. Thinking that I would go back into law, I took one of the poems and created my first book in a trilogy “Secrets of the Ghosts-The Sleeper”. Now, I can’t see myself doing anything, but writing books. Writing have truly become my love. When I’m not writing, I’m reading and if I’m not reading, my time is spent with my family and close friends.

Leonora knew she’d wait for Justin to come home. She hadn’t expected it to be so long

or so fraught.

When Justin joined his regiment, and was sent to the continent, Leonora promised to

wait for him to return. She didn’t think it would take so long, or she’d have so many

difficulties to face. Her life changes as she struggles to cope without Justin and keep

his estate running.

With someone out to destroy all she holds dear, Leonora has to fight for her beliefs

and her family, and hope they get the happy ever after they deserve.

“Upstairs.” He put his hand to the small of her back and edged her

upward. “First door on the left.”

As she got to the top of the stairs her steps faltered. “Justin, what if…” Her

voice petered out.

“It’s too late for that, Nora.” He pulled off his riding cape and dropped it over

the balustrade. “No what ifs are allowed. The servants are away. Your father thinks

we have gone on a farewell picnic, and mine is uncaring and in town.” He chose not

to mention her brother. “You’ve pushed me thus far, and therefore there’s no backing

out. When I rest on a pallet in some godforsaken billet with the reek of gunpowder

and death round me, I’ll think of you under me. Of my cock buried to the hilt inside

your channel, and the sweet love mewls I feel sure you’ll make. You will not renege.”

He pushed her inside the room. It took very little effort. She may plead uncertainty,

but her actions belied that state of mind.

“Wait now.” He undid the buttons on her cloak as he spoke. “I need to see if

your bath has been made ready before the servants left.”

“I have no intention of doing any such thing,” Nora said. Indignation rang

through her voice. “Reneging or waiting. Hell, I’ve waited so long, I may well be

atrophied. I’ll bathe after.” She threw the cloak he had given her onto a chair where it

teetered on the spindly back before slipping down on to the carpet. She didn’t give it

a second glance. “I want to be yours, Justin. To know what if feels like to have you

inside me. To feel you swell and grow and spill over me.” Color swept up her neck

and over her face in such a way that Justin was enchanted. He was sure her breasts

and belly would share that same delicate hue.

“Never let it be said I disappointed a lady.” Justin ran his finger over one of

her flushed cheeks, it was warm to his touch. “Take your gown off.”

She looked at him as if he had two heads. In his present state of uncomfortable

arousal, he would not have been surprised. His body was on fire and the only way he

knew to dowse the flames was inside her. It was both torture and ecstasy to hold back

and show her only a little of his desires.

“Won’t you help me?” she asked in a soft voice. “Reach my ties for me?” She

lifted her hair and bent her head to expose the elegant line of her neck, and the loosely

tied ribbons that encircled it.

As Justin stared at her bowed head, her spine curved, and her arse rose in

his direction. His cock threatened to stretch the knit of his pantaloons beyond all

reasonable limits of such material. The pose she had adopted—unconsciously he

assumed—pulled the flimsy material of her gown taut over the globes of her rear, and

emphasized the tantalizing cleft that separated them.

“Lift your skirts, Nora, let me see what is coming to me.”

She turned her head. Her expression was one of puzzlement. Good. Let me see

how far I can push her in the best ways imaginable.

“My rear?”

He nodded, and her eyes widened. “But of course, my dear. To delve deep

inside that secret passage, to feel my cock enclosed and held tight within will be one

pinnacle of our time together.”

Raven lives in Scotland, along with her husband and their two cats—their

of the settings in her books.

She is used to sharing her life with the occasional deer, red squirrel, and lost

A lover of reading, she appreciates the history inside a book, and the chance to

peek into the lives of those from years ago. Raven admits that she enjoys the research

Some scars run soul deep.

Preston finally knows what he wants, but it’s an uphill battle to win her confidence. Dacia has been hurt countless times, including by his own hand. Despite her accusations, he wants what’s best for her.

Dacia struggles with her inability to trust. Her mother has always been too wrapped up in her own life to pay attention. Her father only comes around when it benefits him.

Dacia no longer believes she’ll ever come first.

Remus is a fugitive on Earth and in Faerie. His ungrateful daughter refuses to help, even when a mage nearly tracks him down. His best hope is pitting Dacia and Preston against each other.

Ultimately, Dacia must choose.

Can Preston help mend her scarred heart? Or will her father’s corrupt plan spoil Dacia’s chance at happiness?

Black And White Portrait Of Tender Beautiful Couple

“Whatever Preston’s done to you, it looks good on you.”
She froze, watching Amethyst with wide eyes, trying to process exactly what she meant. “I… uh…”
Amethyst leaned over to whisper, “Hayden told me about your bond. I’m happy for both of you.” She sat back, beaming.
Stunned, Dacia nodded slowly.
“No one else knows, but Preston needed Hayden’s help on something. It only came up because it was sort of necessary,” Amethyst explained, then sighed. “He wouldn’t tell me anything more than that. Whatever happens, take care of him. He’ll do the same for you.”
“I hope I don’t screw up.” Dacia took a sip of her drink to avoid more conversation.
Amethyst giggled. “Turn around and look at the smile on his face.”
Dacia turned, and found hope, and something more on his face. Trust never came easy, but Preston was gaining hers slowly. Everything he did and said was sincere. But how long would it last?
“I missed you,” he said simply, holding out his hand for hers. She took it and he pulled her into his embrace. His lips grazed over hers, before trailing a path to her ear. “Care to dance?”
“Mmm, of course.”
He pulled her to the dance floor, and wound his arms around her. The song was slow, and they didn’t do much more than sway, but being in his arms was the only place she wanted to be.
The whole world slid away as she fell into his crystal blue eyes. Nothing else existed.
“How was your day?” he asked in a rumble that ignited the fire inside her.
He chuckled, low and masculine. “What did you do while I was busy working?”
“Oh,” blushing, she nodded toward Lincoln who was dancing with Monique. She ran the boutique in Edenton, had her own clothing line, and occasionally travelled for fashion shows. “Showed Lincoln a house, and he bought it.”
Preston’s gaze swung to Lincoln. “That so?” His head tipped to the side. “Interesting.”
His attention returned and he licked his lips. She couldn’t resist, and pressed her mouth to his for a slow kiss. Gradually the heat intensified until she was all but panting.
“I want you,” he whispered against her ear.
“Mmm. Need you.”
Lincoln leaned over. “I have a ride.
Dacia jumped in surprise. Looking over, she asked, “You sure?”
He nodded, a sly smile on his face. “Going to a party.” He glanced over at Monique, lifting a shoulder in a shrug. “She’s going to help me with my wardrobe.”
“You look fine.”
His brow arched but his gaze slipped away. “I want to impress someone specific.”
“Be yourself. Same man I saw tonight at dinner. She’ll be impressed, Lincoln.”
“Thank you, but it’s time to start living, for me. New clothes can’t hurt.” With that he disappeared into the crowd
Preston chuckled. “Let’s get out of here.”
“Your house or mine?”
“Does it matter?”
“Mine then.”
“I’ll race you.”
“Mmm, what do I get when I win?”
“Anything you want, Minx.”
“Already got me.”
“See you at my house,” she taunted.

Horse of Bells by Pelaam

A legendary horse, magic, and a man shrouded in mystery. Who can he trust? Caolan

risks both his heart and his life to uncover the truth.

When his life is saved by a stranger, Prince Caolan feels an immediate connection to

the man, and promises to meet him again. Forced to break that promise to protect his brother

Donal, Caolan waits for the day he can return to the forest.

On their trip home, almost a year later, he and Donal are tricked by their step-mother

into attempting to steal the legendary Horse of Bells from the infamous Dark Prince Tuathal.

Honor-bound to accept the geis she set them, the brothers leave their castle to complete the

During their journey, they meet the enigmatic Traveler. Caolan is confused and

troubled by his reaction to the man. Is he a friend, or are his intentions darker and more

The morning came without further event, and Caolan consigned his fear to simple

nervousness regarding his brother’s challenge. They rebuilt the fire and set some water to boil

while they washed at the stream. Laughing together, they returned to their camp and stopped

abruptly. A stranger sat at their fire, roasting a couple of skinned rabbits as if he had been

expected for breakfast.

Caolan stared at him. He felt as if he should know the man, and yet he knew no one

with such unruly sandy-brown hair. The newcomer’s beard seemed better maintained; it was

but a light coating of slightly redder hair. He couldn’t stop his blush as the man’s gaze locked

with his as if he had been caught. They were the same frigid blue-grey the sea had been the

day they had left for the Isles—cold, uninviting, and daunting.

“If I were a spy for the dark prince, I would by now be on my way there, laughing at

how two young idiots were going to walk straight into the arms of waiting soldiers the minute

they set foot in Prince Tuathal’s kingdom. It would probably be the only thing that would

save you from his wrath, to know that you sat and openly discussed an attempt to steal the

Horse of Bells.”

“Then you are clearly not a spy.” Caolan observed.

“Bravo. You have a modicum of brains to offset your beauty,” the stranger retorted.

The words, cold as the look in the man’s eyes, would normally have made Caolan

bristle with anger. However he found himself inexplicably wishing the stranger was less

hostile toward him.

“What do you want?” Donal asked. Caolan recognized the brusque, assertive tones as

his brother sought to take control of the situation.

“I would travel with you. These are lonely and dangerous parts. I gain company and

you gain someone well-versed in the treacherous swampland through which you must pass.”

The stranger spoke as if his offer was the most natural thing in the world.

“I cannot believe you would do so out of generosity.” Caolan felt unable to resist the

“That surprises me not,” the stranger countered. “Perhaps our hearts are alike. For

payment…” He paused as if considering what would be suitable, yet Caolan was certain the

man already knew exactly what he wanted. “Payment will be my asking the truth of you on

your honor at a time of my own choosing.”

Caolan stood and stared with his mouth open but unable to formulate a reply. As if

from a distance he heard Donal answer for him.

“It’s agreed.” Donal winked at him, but Caolan was certain there would be no way of

telling a falsehood to this man.

“Good. Then let us break our fast. I already know your names. You may call me

Traveler,” he said.

With a sinking heart Caolan sat next to Donal and accepted a plate holding a generous

piece of roasted rabbit.

While his brother sat and ate his serving with gusto, Caolan’s attention was more

focused on the man who now sat with his head bowed. He knew he’d never seen Traveler

before, and yet there was a familiarity that made Caolan ill at ease. A niggling feeling, that

Traveler was more than he seemed, made Caolan’s stomach twist into knots. Who are you

really, and why do you make me feel I should know you?

Dare To Kiss by S. B. Alexander with my review

Title: Dare to Kiss

Author: S.B. Alexander

Genre: New Adult

Hosted by: Lady Amber’s Tours

Besides her family, Lacey Robinson’s only other love is baseball. She’s on top of the

world when Arizona State University approaches her to discuss a scholarship. To play

for a college boys’ team is beyond what she has ever dreamed. Her fastball is

impeccable, her slider equally as good, and her curveball annihilates anyone who dares

to step in the batter’s box. But fate has its own way of throwing curveballs. When she

looses her mother and sister to a home invasion, baseball and her dreams die with

them. Tragedy has a way of seeping deep into her psyche, causing nightmares, panic

attacks and blackouts. Diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, her psychiatrist

recommends a change of scenery and picking up the things that she loved to do, and

for Lacey that is baseball.

After a move clear across the country, only two things matter to Lacey—overcome her

PTSD and make Kensington High’s baseball team. But trying out for the team comes

with complications—the captain, Aaron Seever, doesn’t want a girl on the team.

Adding to her new life, she never counted on meeting someone who wants her as badly

as Kade Maxwell. The tall, sexy and drool-worthy bad boy has a magical touch that

awakens her feminine side, and a kiss that slowly erases her nightmares. But getting

involved with him may be dangerous when Kade’s arch-nemesis returns to town to

settle a vendetta.

To complicate matters, her PTSD has taken a turn for the worse. She has to find a way

to push away the demons otherwise she may not have a chance at anything in life.

He grinned with his infamous Maxwell smirk as he cupped my face.

I had barely caught my breath when his mouth was on me. I opened to him as his

tongue dipped inside, twining with mine. He tasted like forever. I wiggled against his

hardness, and he moaned. Abandoning my mouth, he trailed his lips along my jaw, my

ear, and my neck. He licked over my racing pulse while the heat from his hands was

scorching my back. His torment was too much, yet not enough. My clothes grew

constrictive. I wanted to feel his bare skin against mine.

As if he sensed my need, he lifted my sweater over my head, throwing it to the

floor. His eyes were seas of shimmering copper. The backs of his fingers ghosted up

and over my abs to land on the clasp of my bra. For perhaps one second he hesitated

before unsnapping it. When he did, I sucked in a breath, my nipples hardening. He

removed one strap then the other before it fell behind me.

“Beautiful,” he breathed, as he traced the outline of my breasts, teasing, but

never touching the sensitive peaks that ached for his magical fingers or even his mouth.

I pressed my hips into him, feeling his arousal. Desire swirled down my belly in a

slow, sinuous slide.

He groaned, deep and sensual. “Baby, tell me what you want.”

My body tingled. My brain went blank. “You.” All I wanted to do right now was feel

him and everything he had to offer.

His eyes widened with a savage intensity that frightened me, yet calmed me. He

pressed a kiss to my breast, gliding his warm mouth over my nipple before sucking on it.

I arched into him, rubbing against him. He moaned, giving my other breast the same

I fisted my hands in his sweater, tugging it up. He eased back, raising his arms. I

lifted his sweater and T-shirt over his head before tossing it aside. My gaze wandered

over him, drinking in every muscled inch of him from the line of light brown hair that

disappeared into his jeans, to the six-pack abs that sculpted his midsection, to the

tattoos on his chest. Pushing his fingers through my hair, he brushed his lips over mine.

“Are you sure, Lace?” His voice was barely audible.

Strong language. Sexual content. Intended for audiences 17 years and older.

This girl and boy have had such a hard time I believe they really needed one another to get through some of their issues. This author told a thoroughly good story. I loved how the author described all their problems in detail and let you feel some of what they were feeling. I really liked the brothers and their love for one another, also I am looking forward to reading more about them in the next book of the series. I also loved how the author integrated baseball in to the story because I too was the only girl on an all boy baseball team and had to deal with the boys not wanting me there. I wasn’t as good as this girl is but i held my own, this story had me reminiscing and I liked it.

A roadside explosion kills Dalton Blake’s lover in Afghanistan. Dalton wants to

hide in himself forever. Can a base officer can break through?

Dalton Blake and his lover from college enlist to serve their country and seek

adventure. A roadside explosion in Afghanistan that Dalton believes he could have

prevented takes his lover’s life and Dalton returns stateside, withdrawing into his own

world to escape the emotional toll. A base captain tries to break through and must find a

way to connect before Dalton makes a tragic decision. In His Sights explores the impact

of loss and the hope that new love offers.

Afghanistan fascinated him. He saw beauty in what many deemed a desolate

landscape. A flower blooming among rocky crags was like an act of defiance interrupting

the bleakness. He had gained confidence and felt like his leadership abilities were

growing rapidly on the day a colonel, a senior engineer from the States, and a camera

crew from a television network were among the audience members.

The last questions finished and he gathered his materials. He headed to the coffee

shop on base to revel in his success but soldiers were scrambling amid confused shouts.

“Hey, what’s happening?” Dalton tried to get someone’s attention.

“An attack. There was an attack just down the road.”

The news screamed back to base. An IED had exploded in the field, ripped

through a convoy, and killed several soldiers. Jerry was among them.

Dalton froze. A volley of commands were unleashed in his mind to run here or

there, but he was helpless. He shook free from the initial shock and ran to his barracks,

buried his face in his pillow, and fought to suppress his rage. He wanted to scream, grab a

weapon, and head off on his own personal assault and find the son of a bitch responsible.

A debriefing revealed a connection failure in the jamming device and the feeling of

failure Dalton experienced was like water bursting through the walls of a reservoir and

flooding everything in its path.

DD Symms wanted to capture the emotional struggle that loss and new love bring

That Night by Mia Epsilon

What do you get when you have two best friends who happen to be roommates stewing in

sexual tension? A night they will never forget.

Anna and Robin are college roommates and best friends. Even though the chemistry

sizzles between them, they have remained platonic for over three years. One night will change

Robin has struggled to repress his feelings for Anna. He seeks out brief and meaningless

relationships with the women on campus, who flock to his charm, flashing blue eyes, and bad-
boy appearance. But Robin can’t get Anna off his mind or out of his heart.

Anna has watched Robin move from one woman to the next, never settling for any. She

keeps up the pretense of friends-only while secretly longing to be the woman to tame him. The

combination of college demands, a failed date, and simmering sexual frustration explodes into a

night of passionate need. But when it’s over…what happens then?

Why do I keep putting myself through this? Robin Bates paused in the stairwell to tap

his head on the wall. What kind of an idiot kept up this charade for so long? He should just tell

her. Why couldn’t he just tell her? It was simple, really. He stomped up the last flight of steps

and down the hall to their room. All he had to do was say the words and accept the fall out. He

opened the door, took a deep breath, and spoke. “Anna, there’s something I need to tell you.”

The small lamp on the bedside table glowed in the semi darkness. Books and crumpled

papers lay tossed around her on the tangled sheet and blanket of the bed. Her lap top perched

at an angle, half on and half off the pillows. Stats, Robin saw, her least favorite subject and the

only one she struggled to master. He had made a promise to help Anna with the latest assignment

and had gone on the disaster date from hell instead. His gaze followed the line of her bare legs.

She said they weren’t perfect; he said they were. Sure, they didn’t look like they went on forever.
