The Scene:
WARNING: Excessive Sarcasm & Adult Language
Irreverent twenty-something and journalist , Dylan Hart, has her little black heart set to cashing-in on the blood-drained bodies of seven prostitutes scattered throughout southern California.
In an attempt to write her first best-selling novel and pay off her ever growing student debt, Dylan begins the search for the culprit of the media-dubbed Vampire Massacres, diving head first into L.A.’s sanguinary ‘vampire’ subculture.
Not your daughter’s vampire story, The Scene escorts readers into an all too real sanguinarian lifestyle and drags them through a bloody good mystery. Horrible pun intended.

Loved this book! Totally different and refreshing read. I love Dylan’s snarly attitude, I loved her tough as nails attitude that only showed a little vulnerability occasionally, I loved how she talked to herself inside her head (argued with herself more like it) This book takes you into another realm of vampires that is not written about often (the darker side) that of the fake vampires who try to act as if they are vampires you see on T.V. this book hints of real vampires and slayers and I don’t know yet what Cyrus is but I would like to, so yes I am looking forward to reading the next book. I have decided that I really like this author’s style of writing and am looking forward to more of her books.

*Endless Night:
WARNING: Extreme use of the F bomb. Reader beware.

The bitch is back in this second installment of the Dylan Hart Odyssey of the Occult series. The graciously irreverent Dylan Hart, is at it again this time from down in New Orleans. In an unfamiliar city, surrounded by ‘vampire’ elite, Dylan finds herself entangled in the underground world of blood and lust.

– Or is that bloodlust? –

Dylan is forced to sift through fact and fiction when she encounters a new, and much more frightening, villain. Voodoo. Who do?

Love Dylan Hart! Awesome well written book. Literally laughed out loud quite a few times. You have to read about the airport luggage carousel. I would have been devastated but would have loved to have seen it definitely loved reading it. You also have to read about Dylan and Cyrus and their almost first kiss. Again I would have been devastated but it was so funny to read about. I loved the plot twist bringing in a voodoo Priestess. I still want to know what Cyrus is if he’s not a vampire or human (inquiring minds must know) I am so thankful I can continue on with Sacrifice, the next book because I believe I’d go nuts if I had to wait.
WARNING: Contains cynicism known to cause laughter and suspense that may affect heart rate.

Dylan has found herself in quite the conundrum. Locked in her apartment with an unknown voodoo beastie hot on her tail. She’s tits deep in death and it’s knocking down her door. Literally.

Endless Night left you with your heart pounding and your stomach in your butt. Sacrifice will flip you upside down and take you on a ride that will leave your knees quivering and your head lying on the floor…literally.

Awesome Read! I loved how this book along with the first two were full of humor, scariness, paranormal, and sexual tension. I loved how horny Dylan was all through the books and never got taken care of, it made for some pretty funny situations. I loved it when she called Cyrus Cryptic McAssholeton. I felt so bad for Dylan toward the end but you’ll have to read why. Very scary and heart wrenching.I still don’t know for sure what Cyrus is. Hopefully the author will give me more hints in book 4. Really looking forward to book4
